Aashray learning centre was started in 2018 to educate children with disabilities with specific focus on every child's learning needs.

Every child is assessed by visiting health care professionals periodically and followed-up by our CBR staff. This helps improve the child's quality of life and improve preparedness in the real world.

Many children with disabilities, especially from the poor communities are visited at home by our CBR staff and therapy is administered. Parents are also counselled based on the specific care required by their child. 

Disability in India comes with a host of stigma and societal negligence. We work with the communities to increase awareness disability and inclusion of PWDs. We also work to empower them by organizing Disabled people's organizations (DPOs) and training them on various skills.

We also aid them to apply for documents and pensions, aids and appliances from the relevant government schemes.
